Why are people trying so hard to get Taylor Swift lumped in with those other goons? Yea ok she has high ticket prices but at least she has a real job. The rest are actively trying to destroy democracy and the working class.

She’s a woman. It’s just misogyny. She actually does her best to make sure the folks who work for her are taken care of.

The fact that all the wealthiest in the world are mostly awkward straight white dudes who don’t give a fuck about anyone but themselves probably hits too close to home.

If not Taylor, it would be Oprah or some shit.

My wife hung out with her for the day as part of her job. Her mother was a bitch—my wife accidentally tripped Taylor over and the mother lost it—but Taylor was super nice. They were friends by the end of the day and swapped numbers, but neither ever reached out haha.

This was before she got super famous and was just some young country singer. I dunno if she’s still the same but I don’t see why not.

She supported Harris. A vast majority, if not all of these “look at Isreal and Palestine” posts are an attempt to siphon votes away from Harris and improve Trump’s odds of winning the election.

Da, Boris, to influence the election we must post on the federated reddit alternative with all the trekkies and Linux nerds and communists. Reddit? Noooo. Too many people. Twitter? Are you high? We need to go where the action is.

There’s also a lot of that activity on Twitter and Reddit. Sometimes not by obvious Russian trolls, but by people not directly affected by the US elections. It’s yet another question, what they’ll do, once Trump gives Russia what it wants (thus will be drunk on power and want even more), or “sets new standards in human rights” (anti-LGBTQ+ laws, outlawing no fault divorce, etc.).

I…thought it was to make the trolley problem a little more difficult to resolve.

Yeah 1, 2, and 4 are easy lever flicks, 3’s a bastard but I would be on the fence about the lever flick and 5 is even less “objectively deserves to feel the consequences of their actions” though no one with that much net worth is particularly easy to be sympathetic to.

He did shitty/shady business stuff as CEO of Microsoft. He’s got suspicious ties to Epstein. His philanthropy is good and all but overall he’s still a greedy wealth hoarder.

I think he said multiple times that he found it very hard to spend his money (for good things) faster than he’s still earning it. He was the poster boy for capitalism in the booming tech market when it happened (with all the shitty business practices you can think of), but after he left Microsoft, he’s been doing good things and trying to throw as much money as possible on it. He’s at a level where his wealth hoarding happens on its own, even if he’s not greedy for money. He’s not trying to hoard it, he’s part of the group of billionaires who keep saying they need to be taxed more.
