Yeah, it’s advised to vote for the lesser evil, unless you’re literally choosing between Mussolini and Hitler, but you need to provide even more than being better on social issues than Trump. I cannot vote in the US, but saw many of those who could begging the democrats to put a weapons trade embargo on Israel. They were already being called “too antisemitic” even by dumping all the weapons into Israel anyways.

Expect this to escalate to really bad levels. Not just by women getting raped, but those awful men getting “what they deserve”, which will lead to further escalations. All because of they wanted what those stupid Coca-Cola and gas stove ads depicted.

To be fair, a lot of them don’t know the full context. Don’t underestimate how much the average voter can be out of touch with news. Many of them only care about politics every four years or so.

I have former Latino friends, who turned to the right for weird reasons. One weirdly complained about “feminist laws”, the rest think they want to pay less taxes and though the rest are just a joke or something.

“The adults” can’t restore lost lives, and depending on how much “the adults” think they should take the moral high ground, they may only undo some of the damage, while normalize the rest.

Tankies just want social-democracy without the democracy part (a social-autocracy), and often have the same exact work moralism as hustle bros. We libertarian-socialists, on the other hand, are your friend.

We tried to get things better by working with liberals. They only wanted our votes. And lately they’ve been giving us less and less reasons to do so, and even less for the less politically literate. If the democrats are going in the direction they’re currently, their only saving grace next election will be that they won’t do further harm, because they were been told by some people they were “too far left”.

If god is anything like the dominionists, his only thing for goth girls is “convincing them to become trad wives”. (I knew a few of these guys unfortunately, the very few that managed to get laid turned out to be massive abusive assholes)

Then that will lead to a civil war. The GOP won’t let that go easily.
