Trump will close his own shit down again or rebrand it to Truth X? 🤣
The strength of life to face oneself has been made manifest. The persona Carighan has appeared.
Trump will close his own shit down again or rebrand it to Truth X? 🤣
I mean, as long as Twitter goes down, who exactly gets to do the killing blow among all the individual blows doesn’t truly matter now, does it?
Same as I, yeah.
Don’t worry, you’ll soon get massive tax cuts for companies and their executives, while basic goods get 25%-35% pricier for the worker class due to the tariffs since the orange potato has to fun those tax cuts somehow.
Nothing, I got more than enough games left to play:
… and actually a bunch more I can’t even recall right now…
I have never heard of either.
Wait, someone guilty of a crime can get jailed for the crime?
That certainly explains why people like Musk or Trump don’t get it, since that does not apply to them.
Ah, the negative image of a void! :o
Such a shame that Democrats still try to play it by the democracy book, despite Republicans having fuck all interest in it.
Should have invited him, put him in front of the camera, then kept asking annoying questions while ignoring what Trump says, talking over him. Flash a giant LIAR on a screen in the background whenever he says something, maybe.
Ah, they’re all crap.
Came to Teams from Slack, some upsides, some downsides. It’s a corporate communication tool, I don’t use it because I think it’s beautiful and elegant, I use it because I get paid money to use it.
All four remaining players are very happy!
Info about wars only?
Over a million actually by now, and they got above 15 mil total.
Because people I want to follow are on Bluesky?
(I mean, duh? Did you really need people to state that?!)
Porn doesn’t wreck your mind if you’re a sensible person?
What are we talking about here? Easily impressionable people with no frame of reference? They’re susceptible to everything. Well-adjusted people with prior information? They’re susceptible to neither.
Usually this indicates that the drainage cycle is repeated again and again as the wash is still “too wet”.
Could have all kinds of reasons, check the drain sieve in particular, mine had this silver “sheen” clogging everything that was packed and hardened bits of plastic and fibre mushed together.
And in fact, wanting candidates to show conviction could be seen as problematic element, as conviction is really not what we need right now in regards to getting elected. Anyone thinking even remotely rationally about the world their children will live in ought to figure that out for themselves.
The big problem is though that vast voting blocks including their candidates are:
a) the ones who fucked it up in the first place. b) too old to care how much things go to shit after them.
Imagine >80 million fascists in a single country like the US. Ouff.
Which is always a very scary part. Especially over here, people should know better as they have first-hand experience (as a society at least). Seems it’s too far past already or something. 😔
Sure, but as you cannot know the future, it’s a bit tricky to pick a successor you want to support based on that, instead of absolutely right-now-essential things such as “Where people actually are”.
It’s also important to keep in mind how long Twitter’s run was: It was originally founded 18 years ago. I’d be okay if every 10-15 years I have to get a new Twitter, tbh. I buy a new phone every 4-5 years, a new car every 15-20, I’m alright. It’s cheap to go onto a new Twitter, I’m far less resistant to change with that.
That is to say: Sure, maaaybe (again, can’t truly know) Mastodon is superior on a technical level. But not only is that absolutely not how social media operates, and second it really doesn’t matter if a sucessor also goes down in 10+ years. People won’t be able to care any less if a successor lasts that long, and considering how quickly Mastodon has turned into a semi-ghost-town once Bluesky got big, I kinda know what I’d put my money onto.
Of course all of this ignores a central problem with the entire category of services: They don’t conduct conversations well, even stuff like Misskey or Mastodon.
