And even further, only those exact same two seats are ‘taken’ for every single showing.
I thought for sure the after church showings tomorrow would be at least somewhat full, but nope.
To be clear:
The ‘x’ seats are ‘taken’
The 🟦 seats are ‘available’ETA As many have pointed out, since these same two seats are blocked for every showing, I believe it’s because they’re broken; not sold.
Totally sold out. The most sold out movie ever. You remember Titan-ick? Had a naked girl in it and it didn’t sell as many tickets as this movie. People are saying this is the best movie there is. People are watching it 4 or 5 times and saying how good it is. I haven’t seen it. Maybe I’ll see it. Deenish de-sooza did the movie. She’s hot, have you seen her? Smokin hot. They wanted me to be in it. Was I I in it? Sure, maybe. Great movie. The best.
OMG! Nailed it dude!
Well I’ve seen enough to know it’s not even worth a hate watch:
Dinesh D’Souza
Ew
I think this guy wanted to be the Michael Moore of whatever side he represents, but he’s not talented.
And he usually ends sentences with an upward inflection? On top of a horrendous voice it just makes it more annoying?
I cannot wait for the Some More News episode on this movie now…
Not that I think this isn’t hilarious, but to quote Trump’s own idiotic ramblings, “Nobody knows what an app is.” His redneck supporters that don’t trust such fancy lib’ral scams as “mail” and “locked drop boxes” sure aren’t going to understand using an app to book a seat in a movie theater.
Lmao in a city with ~300k, not much better lol
I got curious. This showing is in about 90 minutes, in one of the reddest counties in the country.
There is another show tonight that has about 10 tickets sold.
If this is in one of the reddest counties, then that means NONE of this means anything, other than this movie did a terrible job advertising. Even to their base. Nobody knows the movie exists.
How is a piss poor documentary with zero marketing making it into so many theaters?
This looks like Megaplex. You also in Utah, my friend?
This theater seating arangement pisses me off. Why did they remove 2 seats on all the rows behind the handicap seat row? And why are there 2 seats even further to the right, but X’d off in the back row??? If anything that just shows theres enough space for 4 more seats in EVERY row behind the handicaped row! Is that just empty floor space??? Why is that there??? Like a mini dance floor in the theater???
Truly you have done as your handle says
That’s cause there is no target audience. His supporters already think he can do no wrong so who is this film trying to win over?
Russian money don’t clean itself
Get real, it don’t even try anymore.
I dont know how much I believe the theater. This is tomorrow in Connecticut. 4:55 sold out but all the other times have zero to 7 people. Yeah it’s a Sunday but I would t put it past thr gop to be artificially inflating box office receipts.
Might be a thing like with Christian movies where a church buys out an entire show in one block in the expectation of their parishioners all going. It artificially inflates their box office numbers too, of course.
Because that is what churches are supposed to do - promote politicians 🙄
It’s literally illegal, but good luck getting the IRS to do anything about it.
Every theater has about 2 seats blocked off because they squeak too much and have been complained about. I’m blown away at the amount of religious content at theaters. There is tons. Some of it is basically like going to evangelical church. They’re not movies they’re sermons in theaters.
This one is made by a D’Souza, the same name behind that movie about ballot boxes being stuffed in 2020. It’s nonsense.
Ay lmao
Solid red area of TN! Empty with two hours to go!
I’m sure you and everyone else understand, attendance isn’t proof of anything beyond box office numbers. Many theaters are empty that’s how they know to show something new.
Here’s the nearest theater to me smack-dab in the middle of the reddest metroplex in the country.
Ugh, Westminster, CO. Most showings in the Denver area are at least half full. But most theaters aren’t showing it at all.
My guess might be that much of the audience buys a ticket when they show up. I know that’s probably what I would do. Especially if I saw ahead of time that I can choose any seat.
I think you still have to buy a specific seat if you buy at the theater otherwise it would break the system if anyone did buy an assigned seat after you.
I just checked the 9pm showing and it’s still showing an empty theater 3 min before start.
Ha. Guess theaters really are dying. Or nobody wants to see that particular film lol.
Our town only has two theaters and only this one has assigned seats. It’s only showing this, that Reagan movie and Beetlejuice. I couldn’t find any seats that had been sold…
However my wife and I went to see Deadpool a week or two ago and the theater was as full as I’ve seen a theater since Covid.
Not sure what my point is?
But, ‘Yes!’ Also ‘No!’…
In conclusion, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
For some comparison, wife and I went to a Tuesday noonish showing of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and there were more than 8 people. So, at a time slot that would be totally understandable to have 1-2 people at a showing, there were way more than for this waste of digital space.
To be fair it is for 6:30. If you have work and a family, a 6:30 showing is not all that viable an option regardless of the film.
It’s Saturday?
Timmy has sportsball practice, you need overtime to pay for keeping up with the Joneses, and supper is at 6.
Plenty of reasons why an adult can’t make a 6:30p movie on a Saturday.
The best one being “Damn, this looks stupid”.
That is the obvious answer for the majority of people, but it is always the motivated minority of ignorant and opinionated that speak so deafening.
Ok? If not on a Saturday, when do you think people are seeing 6:30 showtimes? Do you think theaters just don’t open before 8pm or something?
I would say the majority of 6:30p patrons are kids, single, dating, and DINKs. There are the outlier degenerates, but for all we know OP is showing a theater that is in San Francisco where nobody would bother with such a nonsense waste of time.
You might check all the other images other people are posting of empty theaters in their area. Including places like Texas.
