morrowind@lemmy.mltolemmy.ml meta@lemmy.ml•Can We Block x.com And twitter.com Links on Lemmy.ml?
0·1 year agoWhile I don’t mind this, I barely see anyone posting twitter links here anyway, so it likely won’t make much difference, even to us, let alone to twitter
More likely it was written in a seperate language and translated
Idk what that is, but I found the one I was talking about https://www.reddit.com/r/greentext/comments/9te2pd/anons_antibullying_pineapples/
Wasn’t there some copypasta about someone leaving a pineapple on their bully’s step and driving them mad
That phone’s going to die in about an hour

morrowind@lemmy.mltoRun It Yourself@lemmy.ml•should /c/selfhosted@lemmy.ml be deprecated in favor of the (larger) /c/selfhost@lemmy.ml ?

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Those who live outside Europe. What are things Europeans are not ready to hear.
285·1 year agoMost Europeans still have a casual sense of arrogance and superiority over the rest of the world. It’s not very heavy, but it’s there, even among some of the best people I know
Many do. Matlab, Julia and Smalltalk are the ones I know
I have never successfully done this. I don’t know how people do this
I don’t remember her being big nosed

Firefox@lemmy.ml•Mozilla chairman's salary vs Firefox market share (as of 2023)
1·1 year agoDoesn’t matter, all the forks combined make up a fraction of FF.
Plus people moving to forks still hurts Mozilla

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•Amazon: The same 31 products you don't want, again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and againEnglish
11·1 year agoAbout 1/8 of the page is the product. Almost NONE of the page is the “specifications” section, which is the most important section.
Not a very useful metric once you add in infinite scroll. More important is the fact is the “frequently bought together” section between the product and its details, all of which are collapsed by default (unless you did that)

I don’t know a ton about Gitea, but I’ve recently starting looking for a simple git server + decent web UI
Gitea and Forgejo are the main recommended ones, but they both seem overly complex. (3D File previews?? Who needs that?)
