The younger people of America have shown what they are made of, and never again will I overestimate them.had a discussion with my peers about it. “I can finally buy a house!” they said. As that meme says, ‘This is how democracy ends? with thunderous applause?’
I wish I could turn my brain off and just vote for trump like so many others around me. I wish it was that simple.

Tbh it doesn’t matter, anyone who believes in progressive ideals should continue to live that way and vote accordingly in the future. It’s obvious from looking at Bidens and Harris votes that turnout was a huge issue this time around. I almost want to say maybe people were scared into staying home, which would make sense given some of the pre-election rhetoric
