Okay, the definition used for global 1% is so gross and unrealistic. People earning anything like that are definitely not “rich”. Being above extreme poverty is not “rich”. The only rich which matter are people making multimillion+ USD income per year through work or assets. Who do you think buys politicians and makes the law? It’s not the secretary in NYC earning $140K per year. Let’s be fucking for real, how do I take the rest of this article seriously if they’re this much their asshole?

My advice to writers who want to “win” for their pet politics: make sense at least. Otherwise you’ll get mad that someone called you out, and then you’ll just say they’re being a liberal or conservative, then you’ll be wrong twice. Pass the critical thinking test.

Westerners are easy to agitate because they live relatively cushy lives. I am not saying just because someone isn’t living in extreme poverty, they should be grateful. I am saying consider who is agitating you and why. More often than not, they just want to be the ones to control you, and hate that someone else is doing it instead. They don’t want what’s best for you.

I know, that’s why the face eating leopard memes are funny too. People say a lot of thoughtless things out of biases and indoctrination. Some people will never learn, only thing which makes sense is to tax the wealthy so they stop corrupting democracy.

No that’s fair, which is why I said that I don’t know whether this tweet person is someone anti-social or sociopathic. A person doesn’t have to extend compassion or empathy to anyone who wants to harm them, or is some sociopath or psychopath (unless the sociopath/psychopath is going through some kind of psychological treatment for a disorder).

Don’t wanna be that person, I don’t think it’s okay to make fun of someone else’s misery. I can’t speak to the ethics and morality of this tweet dude, but not everyone who’s rich is an immoral or unethical person, and not everyone who’s working class has morals or ethics. People should aim to do better for each other. Maybe I am just naive to want something like that.
