Ohhh yes! Look, I’m not an EV enthusiast but this car might change my mind. I love the way it looks from every angle. Just needs a trapper keeper background to complete the look.

So they’re actually going to go forward with the hybrid battery electric + compact hydrogen fuel cell system?

Mind, this car rips, but the road version won’t be able to have all the race car aero unless it’s sold at supercar prices

Limited quantities makes me feel like it’ll be a price I won’t want to pay.

I’m hoping it doesn’t feel like an EV to drive but a good sports car instead!

Nice to see something other than an SUV for a change. I’ll wait and see what the range, charge speed, and costs are before getting too excited.

I get what you mean but Lucid, Hyundai, BMW, Tesla, Polestar, VW, and im sure a few more all have electric sedans

If people considered those sorts of things when buying a sports car they wouldn’t buy sports cars.

It looks cool. It probably goes like stink. Hopefully it handles well. That’s all a sports car needs.

I think this would be both the best looking electric car and best looking Hyundai I’ve ever seen.

What’re you talking about? That’s clearly an RX-7 and a Dodge Challenger.

Aaaaha, the Starion, now I see what you mean (they were all sold as Mitsubishi Starion in Europe, to my knowledge. Not an expert).

Yep we had the Starion here in the States as well. It and the Conquest were pretty much the same vehicle.

I’m worried we’ll get the usual slew of changes for the production version. E.g. hood can’t be that low, pedestrian hazard, can’t have that sheet metal crease there, too expensive, pillars must be thicker for the roof to handle rollover events etc…

And no, I’m not saying safety is silly, I just hate it a tiny bit when designers tease us with stunning designs, designs they know can’t be progressed, as is, beyond a prototype stage.

100% agree with your sentiment. I hope the production model looks JUST like this, it’s beautiful as is.

I was expecting people to put something JDM like a 2JZ, or perhaps even something out of a Hyundai Genesis Coupe or something. It seems like those would fit with the car without being too overkill for it.

Looks amazing. They really need to revamp their logo, it doesn’t vibe with their current vehicles. Kia did a nice job.

I really really really want that car, but I’ll never be able to own one. I take this over any other car.
