NetEase doesnt care, but probably as long as it makes money Disney won’t care either. Theyre not doing so well financially for Disney lately. The only reason theyre stopping this is because they can’t sell skins, not because of who the modded skins are of.
The funny AI presidents playing games together videos that unfortunately died off lately. Wish we could all get along like that.

Sounds like the plot to an anime.

This is great, but is the charity real and the donation actually made? Lots of game industry related people “donating” to fake charities or not donating at all lately. Hopefully this one is real.

can you blame them for not wanting to be seen as the game where Trump can punch Obama in the face?
Well…
NetEase is a Chinese company, so I highly doubt they care about that.
If it can be the game thay Trump punches Obama in the face, it can also be the game where Obama punches Trump in the face. More likely is they would tell jokes and make each other laugh.

I hope they try. They will bankrupt themselves if they do.
Please please please please please

Youll probably be waiting for a while since most indies are solo devs. Its hard to make 3D models and textures of the PS2/GameCube/Xbox era quality as a solo dev in a reasonable amount of time, especially for every object a game would need.
The programming isn’t even the hard part. Its mostly the amount of time and work required for making art assets that take the longest in game developmemt.

Dev teams too big and too much spent on marketing.

So this is what they mean when someone says firing the MP5 “is like music to [their] ears.”

I wish trackballs were utilized more. Near-mouse levels of accuracy at the thumb over a joystick is great.

It actually is pretty fun. I can see this quickly going sour, but currently it is a much better game than Overwatch. No idea what the future holds, but hopefully NetEase can pull through. I loved Super Mecha Champions (2021-2025 RIP, you were gone too soon- Alborada my beloved), so hopefully they keep things going and don’t end this one like some of their other ones (DBD Mobile, for example).

So like, hypothetically, if one wanted to play a “hentai game” with such a device, where would one be able to find this tech if Sony sells it? Hypothetically, of course, but also my friend wanted to know where exactly to find it so they could avoid it…

I am a Lemmy mod and can confirm this is 100% true. Every Lemmy mod does this, the function is built right into the mod options right under the “Evil Mod Power” option.

She has now entered the “wants to settle down and have kids” phase.
I haven’t been here long verity, but it has been an honor o7

Minimum 1080p / 30fps
Okay, so not minimum. 30fps is unacceptable with the power of hardware these days. Spec your minimum reqs for 60, always.

I am old enough to remember consoles connecting to an RF Switch, which then plugged into the TV. Channel 3, baby. Whats your point?
Me not using a Switch since shortly after it came out doesn’t mean anything. I brought it up because it was part of my point that I could not remember if there was a profile or parental setting to filter eroge on the Switch eShop. Perhaps there was not when I had used the Switch but now there is, a lot can change in 6 years.

Are you sure it was London? Or was it just a city you thought was London?
My very first thought was Syberia, but that game is much older than 10 years old.

Nintendo (and Sony, actually) have been highly criticized for censorship of games on their platform. Particularly, adult anime styled games.
I know this may come as a shock to you, so please sit down before you read this, but adults do infact buy and use Nintendo consoles.
Hentai games (or rather called by their proper name, “eroge,” which is a portmanteau of “erotic game”) are pretty popular amongst Japanese gamers. In fact, many of Japans biggest games or game franchises started off as eroge. Nintendo intentionally cutting out that much of their market would be stupid, as it means less sales of their hardware, obviously.
I am unsure how these games are filtered in the eShop, though I would imagine that a parent would be able to control the ratings or tags of games that would appear in the eShop of their child’s account, to prevent these games from being in their child’s eShop feed. I don’t know how, as I haven’t used a Switch since about 2018.
They seem to allude to a violent crime, as they said they “were a different more violent person in the past.”
