I don’t even do that. I save my PTO for when the plant periodically shuts down so I don’t have to go on unemployment.
Many don’t use their PTO so they have a small cushion for when they’re laid off since companies don’t so often now in this “beautiful creative destruction”.
Assuming you live in a place where they’re required to pay out PTO instead of it just disappearing.
