A burger place near us had a ‘cook your own burger kit’ for $25- 5 burgers, buns, fries, etc. It was free on doordash. The first time it happened i called the restaurant to try to pay. They didn’t care. We spent 3 months eating a shitload of burgers.

I don’t really understand this. If I’m reading news that’s shared here, does that count as getting my news from social media? It’s usually a post from a source, not just some random guy telling me stuff he made up. I get that there are people who talk about the news on the internet, but is that just with no reference to the actual news/source? What’s this breakdown in the definition of journalism? Omg…i spent 4 hours in Gander one evening, so it took about 20 hours to go Dallas -> Chicago -> Gander-> Chicago.

There’s is nothing that 99% of people agree on - everything is a sliding scale. Be yourself. Share things you feel comfortable sharing and give then space to do the same. Periods of silence are ok. They’re probably also nervous and think they’re the not normal one.

I’m in Texas. Couple of years ago we went to a small town west of Fredericksburg. I saw several there and that’s the only time I’ve seen them in Texas, but i have seen two maga trucks in the city and maybe 5 in rural areas. I was in Dana point, CA this summer and I saw several hats there. Weird, but I’m in a pretty blue bubble. 80 percent of the yard signs around me are blue. Well…80% of the house with signs have Harris/Walz. 20% of the houses with signs have like a dozen signs out.
