Man. I remember both using the controller and seeing that add. One of those GameInformer magazines way back when it was still around.
He was just a Fledditor. Living in a Lemmy woooorld.

Piss baby Ted Cruze and destructive toddler Newt Gengrich both come to mind.
Edit: and don’t get me started on the Oklahoma senators. Actively sabatoging education and sowing election distrust.
The states having freer, happier people if they seceede. Some of the states have people in charge that I believe would be more exreeme or more crafty in achieving permanent power for themselves. I’d like to be optimistic, but the number of people who agree with Trump’s rhetoric and my previous coworker who said they were excited at the idea of a civil war has tempered my positivity.
Something good is here, but I’d still want something to balance the power of those in charge of each state. I definitely agree that the power balance between state and federal right now is all screwed up by the two party system, bad faith actors, and too much distance from the public.
I may not agree with all of your points, but well done in the presentation. Comes across as reasoned and thought out instead of the irl people I interract with that downplay the severity of how this will affect the average and non-average US citizen.
Sooo, you liked her politics but felt forced into a choice anyway? Am I reading your comment right?
Is there multiple editions, or just one run?
Edit: Looked it up. Amazon has it, but will check my local bookstore/comicstore first.
A slap with a wet piece of paper is very funny to some of us. Strength not required.
It’s almost like assholes can’t keep their mouths shut when people don’t talk about their needs. If only society created less of those, that’d be nice.
Exactly. They fumbled hard. “It has to be your ____, there’s no way it turned out that good naturally.”
Ok, surely we have to be in a media bubble by this point right? I know Lemmy leans left, but still. Where are the articles quoting non-fabricated stuff Democrats have said that makes them look bad? It can’t be that I only see atricles quoting Republican politicians because only they say the dumbest, brain-worm hot takes out loud, right?
Not only that, but the competative multiplayer scene is dominated by games appealing to professional game teams with high skill ceilings. Excuse me game devs; I have 1hr and 12min to play and I’d rather goof around than try to learn map layouts.
Rhetoric about scapegoats that distract people from the real causes of their issues, a cult of personality, and lots of money. Additionally, a lot of his voters thought he started to expose the truth behind how things actually run in the government instead of seeing how he is playing them for fools just as much (or more than) other politicians. Mostly though, it’s the money.
Not feeling like that proves selective outrage, as Trump would support and likely increase involvement with the genocide.
I like this one, but I’ve heard the term whales for gaming communities. Hobby whale is probably my go-to
Lived near there once. It was truly amazing to see how unified the entire populus was. Nobody ever got into fights over anything, and there certainly weren’t any stabbings at a bar in town while I was there.
Thanks for explaing it so succintly for those that read after. I’ll add that this also expands the options avaliable to Ukraine in future combat fronts, pulling Russian attention and resources, and likely securing more current information on Russian troops. Not that Aurix will try to think about it or be convinced.
I’d love to watch forcefeed them a plate of their, “you will always be a woman” words.
I’d send you a hug in a box if I could. Here is my doggo instead
