Unlike Russia, Israel has no qualms about calling this a war.
But wars are divided into offensives, eg Ardennes Offensive, Tet Offensive, eg. This is the latest Israeli offensive in their war.
I guess that means the US will send another $10B “self defense” aid package, again. Sigh.
Netanyahu wants a forever war to maintain dictatorial power. That is what this is ultimately about. Don’t take my word for it, ask his former best friend.

Just like they did a limited military operation in Gaza? I mean when you’ve leveled 97% of the country I guess it could be technically called “limited”, but then you’re really stretching that semantic to the breaking point.
