Donald Trump Jr. left Greenland Tuesday after less than a day, following failed efforts to promote his father’s interest in purchasing the territory.
Greenlandic and Danish officials reiterated that Greenland is “not for sale,” with Danish PM Mette Frederiksen citing strong local opposition to the idea.
Before departing, Trump Jr. accused Danish media of spreading “fake news” but claimed Greenlanders “love America and Trump.”
He found out all that white powder was just snow and left.

I have been watching Conan Without Borders and just coincidentally watched a 2019 episode where he goes to Greenland to arrange for its sale to the US. This was from the last time Trump was making noise about wanting Greenland during his first term.
It was pretty funny. Needless to say the people of Greenland were less than jazzed about the prospect of joining the US.
Probably even less enthused the longer this circus goes on.
And here I thought the official line was that he was there to record a podcast, and not to try and somehow buy Greenland for daddy. Or was that also fake news? Or was that fake news then but now real, because the other news that he’s trying to buy Greenland is now fake?
Also, how many different ways can we record a podcast with people in other places without being there physically? Even the official story screams “publicity stunt”
He has literally done that himself many times.

But if they tell trumpets that someone loves trump and everything else is “fake news” they’ll believe trump over the actual people 10/10 times.

Trump himself said that he’s valuing loyalty and obedience over competence this time. We can only hope the incompetence is sufficiently dire that not much gets done.
