Wait. I got the format warning in caddy, so does this mean it could contain substantial error? I gotta check

2·11 months agoFortunately my VPS (oracle) has set SSH authentication to be default. Disallowing root login sounds good, gotta try that as well.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•[Solved] How do I debug network issues, regarding caddy in podman?English
1·1 year agoThanks for looking into it. I am not publishing any ports other than Caddy, and forgejo’s ssh port that I think cannot be forwarded. You mean I should block port 3000 from my VPS as well, right?
I am having trouble reading
ss -nltpoutput, could you explain what each entry means? Also I am concerned that allowing access to podman1 private network interface could be too permissive. How do you think?

1·1 year agoYes, they are running on the same server. I am hoping to communicate through host network, maybe that’s not working well
Tracking your web behavior? That sounds quite interesting, how do you utilize the data?

1·1 year agoI mean, calculus is a thorny issue in that it is mostly necessary for engineering, but is not usef for humanities. Not teach it, and STEM people will have jump of levels going college. Teach it, and humanities people will inevitably complain.
Personally, I think it is good to teach calculus just for the technical communication aspect.
Hmm, I guess we are living in completely different culture. But you are right in that hobby itself does not make one abnormal, usually.
Hmm, now said that, having anime as a hobby does make one seem abnormal over here. Similar for any non-mainstream games.
Dunno how it is “giving up happiness”, when one is (typically) unhappy in the first place.
About normal - what do you mean by “normal is spectrum”? I do not understand what you mean by that. As far as I have seen, there is an socially established concept of “being normal”, that 99% of people agree upon and go by.
I feel like hiding/changing self is oftentimes easier than finding someone who likes one as-is. Most people are quite stereotyped and prefers being normal.

3·1 year agoTrue, indeed. Although, in terms of whole stock market, the recent ralley has run out of steam. I think it might be a good short opportunity once this downtrend gets confirmation. Dunno about tesla specifically, though.

Thanks, but I looked up and learned to prefer the idempotence to be handled by ansible. Ansible support iptables by default, while nftables need a plugin, so iptables it is for me.
