Yes actually. Unlike you I am not ignorant of better examples. You should try to take your head out of your ass every now and then.

No need to convince anyone. Trump presidency ensures their will is implemented.
Its sarcasm. All the theatre about voting third party doesn’t make sense because people could shut up and do that if they feel they want to make a change. The loud noise is most likely coming from people trying to derail one candidate or the other.
I appreciate you not escalating in response to my snarky comment with more snark or sarcasm.
On the subject: I agree that the system needs to motivate certain behaviors and disincentives others. But from the current point onwards in our cursed reality… I see no way this transition to such a system does not involve a violent revolution/uprising. I don’t see how we can even maintain such a system in the future without threat of violence towards those that put profits before everything else. I believe this because it took violence to take back 40 hour work weeks and paid vacations. Those seem trivial compared to a system overhaul from the current starting point.
You sweet summer child. You think billionaires don’t control things?
So your argument is that everybody is evil and thus we should give up voting and thus ensuring that there is no hope for democracy vs. Accepting even 1% chance that this election won’t change our future for the better?
I don’t see any comment asking to remove all cars from the roads. Only that viable alternatives to driving be made possible by sensible zoning instead of building everything solely to cater to cars.
I feel terrible because I didn’t buy even a card for my wife’s birthday. I just took her to her mother’s house. This was two weeks ago. I am still baffled why I didn’t buy flowers or something. My wife isn’t demanding at all.
Israel is capable of defending themselves. Nobody is asking to leave them defenseless. All everyone is asking is for an end to the bombing of gaza, and now even Lebanon.
If you have to defer to the law as justification for doing something purely selfish… then people will judge you to be an asshole.
Edit: Not you personally.
I do the same… and i guess i am burnt out by lack of interesting and consistent work to do.
aspects of my job I absolutely hate:
Maintaining a DLL( or shared object) in a large piece of software where my team’s scope is so narrow that we are just a conduit between two other processes. bugs get introduced by behavioral changes from upstream or downstream.
No real exiciting problem to solve.
I learnt Compiler design, Complexity theory, Concurrency, Algorithms, etc in college. But I look at bad code that does if (boolvar) return 1; else return 0;
Its essentially a trade of your soul for writing emails.
It doesnt get boring hearing about how judges demolish bodily autonomy of women and commit other atrocities in the name of corporate freedom.
Sigh if only this guy was not a deluded person and meteors did end humanity. We deserve it so much.
I love how you managed to thread all the needles into being wrong about reality quite intricately.
If this was not about God it will be about something else. It’s actually isn’t about God now too as it is about believers and non-believers. The underlying ideas can be anything: God, Capability (of leadership/rule), Resources, Geography, insults, etc
You’re the coward for wanting to bomb civilians in the name of defense. Don’t hide behind morals.
Nah… the british have a propensity for treating different people badly.
Not agreeing with you. We can’t expect people to go on harsh penance to prove a point. Might as well take the easy way out.
Its not a misgendering. It is a mocking of his reverence to trump and cozying up ahead of the swear-in ceremony. If it pisses him off… it’s his own transphobia to blame. We’re just encouraging him if he’s an egg.
