This is the thought that I’ve been trying to articulate. Those that are decent people aren’t good because they are Americans but in spite of being American.

It got 57% of the vote…so 57% people are decidedly pro choice but still voted against Harris for an anti choice candidate.

I should have called in sick today or something. I am not getting anything done and keep checking my phone like an addict.

When you volunteer with a campaign, you don’t get the phone numbers and don’t use your actually cell phone. You use a dialer program where the campaign dials and connects you via your computer. So you click a button that says you are ready to do a call, the program then uses their phone system to dial someone in their system and it connects the call to you via your computer. The phone numbers come from wherever campaigns get their lists from.

I mean the other option would have been to keep these staff and leverage them to drive innovative solutions with your product or possibly close open feature requests and bug submissions. I mean, these 500 people could have worked towards new initiatives to grow the business as they are keenly aware of the drop box business already and would be able to execute quickly on new initiatives. There are so many interesting places that drop box could expand into and they are instead choosing to layoff staff that could get them there.

For the first time in my life I phone banked for Harris/Walz starting last month. I was expecting to be yelled at by Trumpers but that wasn’t the case. In case anyone is nervous about making the calls, you dont call Trump supporters, you call Dems and Independents to remind them it’s time to vote and how they can get information on voting. I haven’t had any nasty calls yet.

I keep thinking the same thing. When it was all happening, I kept thinking that maybe the frontline troops were green and just in shambles but surely they had real troops in the ranks that would step up. It turns out they had like one group of real troops and that was it.

The entire Republican base will just vote red all the way down no matter who is in the ballot so I don’t think there is a scenario where the Republican Party ever dissolves. They could run a monkey for state senate in red districts and it would win office.

This is exactly the way Trump needs to be covered and while I don’t listen to Poscasts, it really makes me want to start.

This sounds fun. Going to try it during my next argument but first I have to setup a speech to text so that AI is actively listening and then have it parse and respond in realtime to the conversation. Let AI take over the argument while I go have a cappuccino.

I’m going to just roll into Canada and see if they kick me out? You can’t just show up in a country and roll the dice. American is not a desired nationality in developed countries.

My guess (complete amateur speculation) is that an insane number of people got hooked on opiates due to over prescribed pain meds. The medical industry then stopped doing that so the conveyer belt of new addicts has been turned off. I think the drop in deaths is a trailing indicator for the lower levels of new users that started as legitimate prescriptions. So now, it’s down to the people that would likely have tried opiates without being fed them by the medical industry. Just speculation though.

Wow that GOP rep that said democrats created the hurricane is going to have to start working overtime to sell the argument again. At some point the people in the red states must start to wonder why it’s so coincidental that the predictions from the left (science) keep coming true.

I would pre-order and I have never pre-ordered. I would even purchase the larger drone DLC.

Someday they will each figure out that there is no magical bank account setup in their name that they can access. You would think that it would dawn in them since no one appears to have successfully recited the appropriate spell to make it happen.
