Been like 8 years I kind of thought it would be a little different but the if it ain’t broke don’t fix it approach has made a lot of money for people in the past I suppose.

I sometimes wonder why AoE 1 never gets any love in the present day the way AoE 2 does… I’m sure 2 is probably better but I just spent so much time playing 1 that it feels way better to play that now for that reason alone. I had a go at 2 when I got a disc for it with a pack of cereal once and it was good but it just wasn’t right somehow, lost some of the simple charm of 1.

This seems like it makes sense on at least 2 levels, either because he’s saying he at some point had the ‘woke mind virus’ and deleted it, or more likely he’s saying this is what people need to do to ‘free’ themselves of the ‘woke mind virus’.

The just leaving it without taking so much as a bite like it’s no big deal is as hard for me to believe as the spread itself. On the face of it, it shouldn’t be, after all it’s entirely plausible and narratively sensible that the character doesn’t have time and technically it only reinforces the ludicrousness of the giant meal on a weekday morning but, if I was late in the morning but also someone had cooked me pancakes and bacon and eggs with orange juice and coffee and all these cafe breakfast dishes altogether on the table like that then work is just going to have to wait. I’m not spurning pancakes for anything.

This is interesting, I hadn’t really considered this. Is my phone connected to its own hotspot? Obviously it’s connected to data, but then I thought the hotspot was a means of the phone broadcasting that data for other devices to connect to it so I didn’t think my phone itself would be connected to that network since it sort of IS the network. Assuming they ran some kind of script and exploited a vulnerability, are there general things I should be doing? I haven’t noticed unusual banking activity. It’s been only one day so hard to say if there’s a broader identity theft thing going on.

I don’t know man, I mean, it would have been a pretty crappy gift for you personally but I think all the rest of us might have appreciated it if you hadn’t taken back world peace.

Since it isn’t happening to you personally I guess it would be hard to back up with evidence but is there not somewhere you could anonymously report these abuses and concerns to? Any government department? At the very least the misrepresented conditions seem like they must be a violation of something . If it’s anonymous hopefully you’d be shielded and you don’t personal face the same risks to your well being. If there’s anything that is actionable it could result in better conditions all round.

Your tip might be a piece of information that they can add to any other such information to trigger an investigation maybe. Here in Australia at least, the government does at least sometimes act on abusive labour practices, they’ve swooped in on farmers employing fruit pickers who are almost entirely foreign and who suffered absolutely blatant wage theft and abuse and other high profile instances such as foreign embassy staff being treated as slaves.

Just never gets old. Classic. Still I’d miss the bacon and the toast is a bit anaemic. I’d wolf it down if it was put in front of me though. Tomatoes look decently cooked too which is rare to see, I also like your double egg going on I like to do that sometimes. Is that blood sausage of some kind? I don’t get to include that very often as it’s not commonly sold where I am so I usually just have the typical Cumberland sausages. I actually had similar theories though in the end I concluded that a person definitely couldn’t be doing it, but I did used to rack my brains how the machine did it so fast. I had to do a project on how TV worked and was invented when I was in the 6th grade and it didn’t help at all, the whole electron gun thing didn’t explain it to me at all because I was imagining the gun like, drawing objects like trees and buildings and people and none of the boring confusing stuff I read helped me understand how this gun knew what to draw and could do it so quickly.

I thought they’d already bought it, I didn’t know it was still in question. What a bummer. This was going to be hilarious.

I’m sure those who know more about this stuff will roll their eyes at this question but like, I’m about 9 minutes in and why do almost all the examples the guy’s using have white pixels flashing on and off around the edges of the screen? Around 8m25s in particular it’s evident. I thought maybe it was a snow or rain effect, but I don’t think so. It looks like an artifact of some kind.
