The House panel expects to meet again Dec. 5 to reconsider releasing its findings.

Summary

House Ethics Committee Republicans temporarily blocked releasing findings from a probe into allegations of sexual misconduct and other accusations against former Rep. Matt Gaetz, now Trump’s nominee for attorney general.

The report may be reconsidered on December 5, as Senate Republicans deliberate his controversial nomination.

Gaetz denies the allegations, including claims he had sex with a 17-year-old.

Senate Democrats have requested FBI records on past investigations. GOP allies praise Gaetz’s loyalty to Trump’s agenda.

7. No duplicate posts.

If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.

8. Misinformation is prohibited.

Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.

9. No link shorteners.
