Summary

Republican lawyer Mike Davis, a potential pick for Attorney General in Donald Trump’s incoming administration, made inflammatory posts on social media following Trump’s election victory, saying he wanted to drag Democrats’ “dead political bodies” through the streets and “burn them.”

Known for his extreme rhetoric, Davis has repeatedly advocated for aggressive action against Trump’s opponents, including threatening to “cage children” and throw rivals “in the gulag.”

Trump has publicly praised Davis, and his son, Donald Trump Jr., has expressed support for Davis’s potential role in the administration.

      get out if you can.

Got family out last year (inter-racial marriage), I’m mostly out myself.

Last year made me truly appreciate the meaning of the word ‘privilege’.

The south has never, and can NEVER forget we elected a black man over them. There is no greater crime in their conception.

Did you hear that Trump has announced he’s going to cancel all birthright citizenships?

I have, but haven’t followed up, so take that as internet info.

              I know, and I don’t doubt that.

But my wife is white (like, blond, blue eyes, Galadriel white), so they won’t touch her citizenship.

I guess I was an anchor baby in the end anyway.

edit: Oh, I’m rich too, so I’m golden either way.

              Fucking privilege, man.

Btw, I lived in the south, I wasn’t a citizen there either.

If I’d hung around another year I would have been a muslim terrist from the Iraqi Taliban or something.

My wife can apply for dual citizenship as the grand daughter of Irish immigrants. Her sister already moved to Ireland about five years ago. We’re making plans to protect our son.

I may be called a coward, and part of me would agree, but I’ve watched this country descend into fascism for over thirty years. I no longer have hope that things will get better.

Problem is you can’t escape what’s been set in motion, only delay it. It’s creeping in everywhere, corrupting it all. Sooner or later we will have to face it collectively and it’s not going to be pretty.
