    Their whole “state’s rights” argument is such a tired lie. They use it for two reasons:

    1. To push off responsibilities that they don’t want to deal with.
    2. As a temporary mask to hide unpopular decisions until they have the framework in place to push them through.

      And it’s so obvious too. You don’t call abortion murder and then claim it’s fine as long as you leave it up to the states. I don’t think anyone really fell for it either.

    If I had a nickel for every time these guys were suspiciously pointing to “States’ rights”, I’d have two. Which isn’t a lot, but paints a clear picture.

    They’d have to find someone who knows how government works if they wanted to do that in office. Just like last time.

    Qanuts, sure, lots of them. Clueless rich sycophants, yes. But legislators? Nah. They’re annoying.
