All I know is Left Add Right Subtract.
But I do have a pretty rad cannon.

The people who were presenting about Gaza.

I’m calling it right now. They use this as first amendment cover for TikTok.

There’s no mental issue. We’ll be glad someone stopped it.

Job visa or student visa

What? That’s crazy talk. Schools are clearly only for warehousing kids in the most orderly manner possible. We let life punch them in the face the second they graduate, it’s the American way.

I had a faint hope that Trump decided he wanted peacemaker credit and told Bibi it was over.

This is the same poll as was taken down last time. And the takeaways aren’t being objectively discussed by Common Dreams or IMEU.
The swing states set Economy first, Gaza second. Gaza leads only if you include every state. And There’s no real discussion of the negative side. How many voters would she lose in swing states for breaking with Biden’s message? Particularly Pennsylvania, their must win state, which had the lowest support for Gaza.
I think we can realistically say Gaza is a big issue for Democrats but we already knew that from previous polling. I think we can also realistically say that the combination of her Gaza policy, Economic policy, and support for the most extreme immigration legislation in my lifetime, all contributed to her loss.

Musk is giving him far more money than other donors.

Oh I’m not saying the damage is equivalent. But generally the government needs to show it’s work in a democracy, if we want to keep the democracy.
Yup. And the law as passed literally has TikTok written in it. It is 100% unconstitutional.
It’s also a conflict with previous jurisprudence on corporate first amendment rights. Namely that they have them. If Hobby Lobby can have a religion then TikTok can have political speech. Anything less is hypocrisy.
I’m not convinced people are actually moving to Red Note. I think this is another Threads situation.

Yup, they’d make temporary on base housing available to soldiers who normally live off base to keep them away from the police in that case. But for the most part the attitude would be, “not my lane, not my problem.”
Also, just to be clear, that temporary housing would be permanent. In the best tradition of governments everywhere.

That’s the thing, the last time the government did something this sweeping without showing it’s evidence, me and a few hundred thousand of my best buddies got sent to Iraq.

Russia is on the list too. But that’s the point. They can declare that an owner is compromised, no matter what citizenship they hold.

I hope Trump is dumb enough to spend years hollowing the military out instead of doing the easy things. All he has to do in red states is convince the governors to use their National Guard. If they’re under state orders there’s no legal conflict. And in blue states he could start giving badges to the Proud Boys or whoever, (literally anyone willing to do his bidding) and set them loose as federal agents.
What the old officer corps is really afraid of here is the destruction of military norms and institutions.

Michigan has a key voting demographic that knows the people in Gaza. They are families and friends. You’re asking them to vote for the person helping to kill family and friends. This was never a rational thing.

That’s rather short sighted. Yeah you avoid the worst this time. But then next time it’s all even further right. Do you just keep voting for the person who’s not as far into the right, even as they keep running in that direction? They say voting is like getting on a bus, you don’t go straight there. But you also don’t take a bus in the complete wrong direction.
Always look on the bright side of life!
