Many surgeons justify their actions by reasoning that if they don’t perform the surgery, the dysmorphic patient will just go to sketchier and sketchier places until they get what they want, and end up getting infected etc. I’m honestly not sure how I feel about that reasoning.

It kind of contrasts with the hypocratic oath, IMO.
