I find this interesting! Post apocalyptic is a good way to “reset” the world, and the idea of twin Avatars has been batted around the fandom for some time.
Also, small thing, but it seems discussion of the new alleged series is “quarantined” to a megathread over on Reddit:
r/TheLastAirbender will no longer allow any images of alleged leaks from the upcoming Avatar Studios series. This includes storyboards, concept art, and other kinds of art. Basically anything that is an image claiming to be official but not officially released. A post was removed by a copyright request sent to the Reddit admins, so the mods think it’s best to play it safe.
You can still discuss the rumored info including the images. Just don’t post the images here or link to them directly. Un-official reference images are fine.
Additionally we don’t want the subreddit to be flooded with posts on this topic. Please keep your thoughts and discussion to this thread or other existing threads. New threads will be allowed if there is substantial new leaked info, and should be spoiler marked.
I find this annoying, as I wanted to post some threads on speculative Seven Haven ideas, but it seems thats not allowed… Even before that, I was annoyed by how fanon/speculation unfriendly the Reddit sub is in general :/

That sounds amazing and perfectly in line with the canon!
I really like that. Maybe it could reflect their split personalities.
I don’t keep up so much; I need to reread the comics.
But this sounds wonderful. I hope they do it well.
TBH the comics are skippable. I would put a lot of fanfication way above them.
But the novels are great. Especially the Kyoshi novels, but the Yangchen/Roku ones too.
I have 2 of the Kyoshi (first two?) but only read the first.
Thanks I’ll look for the others
There are six novels so far, two for each Avatar before Aang.
