Hahaha!
Fuckin epic!
Hahaha!
Fuckin epic!
Why?
Cromite is excellent.
Too bad it’s chromium based, but works a whole lot smoother and snappier than Firefox based browsers, oh and safer as well… So for the time being, Cromite it is.
Librewolf on desktop Linux is my weapon of choise.
“Old age” disks!
Hahaha. That’s hilarious.
Just like society labeling.
Oh!
So no need for a google account for using Private Spaces?
I stopped using Whoogle (Privacy engine using Google search) because of the bad search results. Google’s fault of course.
Trying SearxNG now.
Oh for fucks sake - Google!
Seriously??
Hypocrisy at its finest.
But then again, after the 2 seconds of rant, that was expected.
Android is getting more and more “private” while all data is tunneled to Google itself. They are just liquidating the competition.
The way you write tells me you are young.
The older you get (and having a family of your own) the more you enjoy the quiet moments, just like the ones when you sit in an airport, waiting for the plane.
It’s really feels like a weight has been lifted from your shoulders.
Yeah, fucking sheep!
I also thought about those scenes in Wally when I was walking the dog the other day.
Soon all of us will float around in armchairs and never step outside.
Welcome to the new world.
PS: I am old too.
Key features:
Schedule for nine social media platforms (Threads, Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, Dribbble, YouTube, Instagram.)
Fundamental analytics for almost all social media platforms.
AI Features: Copilots, AI Auto-complete, Canva-like editor.
Sorry to budge in like this, but I don’t use any of these garbage social platforms, at all. Copilot is also strongly against my belief of the right to online privacy.
The reason why I started to selfhost and use opensource apps/OS, was to get away from all this nonsense.
Lemmy is the only platform I use, used to be on reddit, because the main purpose is to help or to get help/advise on issues. Like the old forums.
I’m a firm believer that social platforms are destroying generations with its toxic/competitive environments.
Rant over.
Shower me with downvotes if you believe I’m wrong.
I just don’t like the layout of Tempo. Don’t like side scroller, with bunch of stuff showing up in tiles. I’ll stick with Ultrasonic until something better comes along.
That’s why I don’t like Navidrome, have to click on “more” to update the lists, as well as being a horrid id tag app. Fucks up your music unless all your idtags are set up perfectly.
I love the artist list in Airsonic. It just works. Still use it today although dead for a long time. Even if it looks like an 80’s app. Been using it with Supersonic on my Linux box.
Oh well.
Wonder IF this is better than Ultrasonic. Had been a while since it was updated.
Let’s see.
Good to see more love to subsonic servers for the homelabbers.
“Unreliable Backup” is probably the worse.
Wait, I have a better name. Duplicati!
Criminals according to what standard ? In some countries, activism or sympathy with a cause is considered criminal behavior.
Exactly!
It is a slippery slope.
Even with services like Proton (big company in the privacy realm) etc, you can only fully trust yourself.
That’s why documents are always client side encrypted before I send my data, to any cloud platform.
I’m really on the last page with Whoogle.
It’s a great app, been using it for privacy a long time now. All creds to the developers.
But as Google Search continues to get worse and has been for a while now, I’m going to start to selfhost Searx instead. I’m currently using a public instance.
Truth to be told, I think all search engines are getting worse. But with Searx at least you have more sources in one app.
Shit!
I came here to say AI, which I’m not allowed to.
Cromite.
Snappier than anything else (With real dark mode, adblocker, anti fingerprint and great security).
Never could get used to Firefox on mobile how hard I try.
On Desktop, it’s Linux with Librewolf.
Well who knows?
I have no problem switching to an alternative is Cromite bellies-up tomorrow.
For now though I’ll stick with it.
