ChatGPT@lemmy.world•Amazon's NEW AI just solved the hardest programming problem
24·1 year agoThe person in this video already has access and demonstrates how this new technology works. He is not just a random youtuber. He actively delves into AI news and even studies research papers.
This is not true love. True love is stop playing a game that can’t be paused in the middle of a cutscene or combat.
This is a comic in technical terms, but also political propaganda. I am not sure this type of content belongs in this community, regardless of which “side” the comic defends or attacks.

A Boring Dystopia@lemmy.world•A new survey found that almost 40% of companies posted a fake job listing this year (2024)
0·2 years agoThe reasons are the worst:
-
Companies said they are posting fake jobs for a laundry list of reasons, including to deceive their own employees.
-
More than 60% of those surveyed said they posted fake jobs “to make employees believe their workload would be alleviated by new workers.”
-
Sixty-two percent of companies said another reason for the shady practice is to “have employees feel replaceable.”
-
Two-thirds of companies cited a desire to “appear the company is open to external talent” and 59% said it was an effort to “collect resumes and keep them on file for a later date.”
-
What’s even more concerning about the results: 85% of companies engaging in the practice said they interviewed candidates for the fake jobs."

Lemmy Be Wholesome@lemmy.world•After watching the 2nd episode of 11th season of Futurama, I googled "Futurama S11E02 discussion" (without quotes) and Lemmy.world was the 2nd result. We can do it, guys.
1·2 years agoThis was the first thing that came to my mind. So I tried again, using a VPN (exit server in the USA) and an incognito window. That screenshot came from that result.
The poor mod definitely needs an AI to help with moderation.

Yeah, but that’s okay. What’s strange is the negative feedback in a community that specifically covers topics about AI.
