  • Juggalos are a subculture of people who feel ostracized and such, are generally VERY welcoming to people deemed “lesser” by the world. It’s a community that celebrates being yourself. If you’re not hurting anyone, you do you!

I think it’s kind of beautiful even though the music is not for me.

  • I fucking hated that segment.

That shitty host is like “WOW GET A LOAD OF THESE FREAKS” the whole time while the freaks are being welcoming and nice.

I know it’s the dudes schtick to be the sassy, judgemental gay guy but those juggalos but he was desperately trying to make them the butt of the joke and it didn’t work. He looked like a total asshole, it was like listening to a Mean Girl bully the nicest kids in class.

The only part he wasn’t an obnoxious douchebag was during the sit-down interview.

  • I didn’t think it was ugly until I saw one in person and walked around it myself… Something about it feels so wrong, like they dressed up a junker with big metal panels for a 90s sci-fi prop. It’s unnecessarily bulky.

I’m big on the form-follows-function mindset of beauty for stuff like cars and this one seems like Elmo’s son drew a car in markers and he said “FIT A VEHICLE IN THIS SHAPE”

Actually, my main takeaway wasn’t “this thing is ugly” - it was “this thing looks fuckin dangerous”

  • I didn’t mean it to dunk on Tesla, that dude rocked! I was just hoping to see the source of the claim. I went back to copy part of the page for this reply and apparently I missed the [4] so my comment was wrong. Here’s the relevant bit from that page which satiated my curiosity:

[…] he revealed that an earthquake which drew police and ambulances to the region of his laboratory

I didn’t think the bridge collapse was random, I was just commenting on the power of resonance. You can also shatter a glass with your voice if you can hold the frequency!

  • Damn, the two sources of the earthquake claim are print and I would have liked to read them. They don’t include a quote directly mentioning earthquakes in the wiki…

[EDIT] I was wrong, I missed a reference. See my reply below

At one point, while experimenting with the oscillator, he alleged it generated a resonance in several buildings, causing complaints to the police.

I believe that. Resonant frequencies have collapsed bridges

he was forced to use a sledgehammer to terminate the experiment, just as the police arrived

Sounds like a real big fish he caught there!

  • I had to think about it…these are the steps for the harder door:

Top right down to the top bolt, swoop counter-clockwise around it the edge.

All the way left to that same bolt, swoop again clockwise, down to the second bolt, swoop counter-clockwise around to the edge.

All the way left to the bottom bolt, another swoop, down to the bottom

For all of this, the squeegee must remain angled to fit between the gap where the doors overlap.

Proceed as normal (top to bottom) for the rest where there are no obstructions.

The other door is the inner door so no fancy moves are required. I can hold the squeegee normally.

  • If you’re getting downvoted, it’s for the charged title, preemptively playing the victim in the description, and the poorly-cropped screenshot that doesn’t say what the rest of the post is saying. Also, no link to actually read the article…which isn’t even the first article about denied coverage making the rounds on social media

Maybe you run into those clowns on Facebook and X but I have never seen a comment anything like the one you’re describing on the fediverse…
