Hyper-V is free and the licenses for the virtual machines are free too because the container host is windows. Lock an instance per output and voila. Recall won’t be coming to enterprise or server and if it does, it will be disablable. Just like forced updates are disabled in enterprise. Forced reboots disabled. Etc.

If you’re getting insurance, asking historical insurance questions should give them a better understanding of your history, like if you’re a brand new driver or not, etc. But it should not be required. Instead of “we have to know this” it should be “we need your history to determine policy risk and provide coverage. Anecdotally I had a UPS Store try to pull the “you have to wait in line to drop off a package so we can get your details” crap for a prepaid drop-off. But they cannot demand your information. I’m not super important but do a fair amount of business with UPS for a rando (thousands $'s week which is a rounding error to them) and after a complaint, got a followup, and magically now they accept packages without requiring information. But you still have to wait in line for them there. The purpose of the information was to get you on the store’s email list for promotions and presumably data sales.

Windows with the proper license and configuration is more stable, more productive, and that configuration takes less than an hour once for the life of the machine.
In 2024 if you’re still bashing Windows for BSODs, stability, updates, etc, you’re doing it wrong. You can bash all day long for privacy violations and corporate greed but both of those are fixed with the proper version like Windows Enterprise. Costs more, but you are less of the product.
If you were a minority you’d be pulled over every day, probably each way to and from work with that as the reason. Given expensive fix-it tickets each time. And most likely had your vehicle searched or impounded for multiple failures to comply. Not being hyperbolic, this has happened often. One guy it was 1 day, 3 tickets and then impound because he failed to fix the issue in a day.

Up until earlier this year this was easy. Any sandboxing app like MultipleApps would load WhatsApp and then you’d have a clean break if you chose. But Zuck decided to block all non original instances, giving a warning for about 6 months that it wasn’t supported and bad and lies about stealing your data, then just logged out and that was the end.
Now very few sandboxes work and in my experience it’s only the root level ones that come with your device. From there you can block contacts or permissions for WhatsApp.
But I think you’ve got it backwards as you’ll be the one with the mixed contacts. Your work colleagues won’t have your personal number and your personal colleagues won’t have your work number. And if they did, it would message two separate WhatsApp instances. They wouldn’t see your other contacts, it’s not like Outlook.
And in that case a free Google voice number on WhatsApp’s second account in the same app, would work just fine for you. That’s how I have 4 WhatsApp on my 1 device. 2 physical sims always on, plus google voice, and an esim. Each WhatsApp instance with a second account switch and then the second WhatsApp in my phone’s sandbox.
It’s a literal requirement in many commercial buildings. They’re for breastfeeding in the code of many municipalities, but you can’t call them booby rooms so they’re “wellness rooms”. Even the best stats I see from the Democrats show 8% better income adjusted for inflation. That’s awesome! But what inflation? The low fed number. Not the CPI.
This means for anyone who purchases things, or where purchasing things is a larger proportion of their income which is everyone below the top 0.5% or 1% in the USA, your effective wage has gone down 10% to 40% depending on what your personal income raise was. Those that job hopped, are only down a bit. Those that didn’t are screwed.
Everytime this question gets asked, I look around and not a single person I know is better off now from income. Not a damn one. You know what is doing better? Stock portfolios. I have them, I’m up. My friends have them, they’re up. We have traded realized daily losses in living for stock market unrealized gains. The average person doesn’t have stocks. They just get shafted completely.
