  • It is bad. Companies could just have some fucking standards.

The issue is profit-motivated companies existing in the first place.

Rather, they should be self-led, and motivated towards the best labour environment as according to their workers. That means their workers feeling accepted, heard and listened to, being able to not only live but also thrive. And all that, while still making the organisation more efficient.

  • Anything in where there is a motive for competition, will attract questionable people, especially if competition would not benefit the general populace.

Money creates competition by having something to rank others by. How much they earn or own. Whoever creates the source of wealth, has the power to hoard it.

It is thus necessary, that for example landowners should be unable to monetise their land; instead, what they produce, should be a public good for everyone.

I mean, you gotta start somewhere. If you have 10 people in a union, and work for about one year, you should be able to spare enough together for a few weeks of striking, provided that you lot put the contributions high enough. If the median salary of those 10 is about €40k, and took about 1/3 of salary for unions, you’d have €10k, enough to pay everyone

If those 10 work three years, they can get enough for one month of striking. Now, it might seem like a lot to contribute to, but one month of no work being done might put a business out of commission quickly unless if they pay up.

Demand higher and many more things than you actually want. Demand eg. a salary increase of 50%. Demand that the boss earn only 10% more than the highest earning workers. And so on. The boss will refuse all of the things, but be probably amenable to some of the aspects. Negotiate until he no longer caves in.

Do it during an especially busy week, and make sure the boss can’t hire temporary workers.

  • Np!

I should mention that I can’t get the new Testflight to work either. I use the old version, the Testflight for some reason is unavailable to me. Is it perhaps because I use an older model iPhone?

Similarly, I sometimes don’t see comments, eg. a post might have 5 comments but I only see 3 or none. It can’t always be deleted messages either, because this issue also occurs on other apps like wefwef, but not on Thunder for some reason (for the same post).
