Who the fuck downvotes this?
The common cold is also an acute condition. So maybe if you try reeeeeeaaaaally hard, you’ll actually get the point I’m making here and why I used that as an example.
Best of luck!
No matter what you say, or how well you say it… they will either make up some bullshit reductive nonsense, or they’ll side-step the entire point as if you never made it.
They’re here in bad faith. They’re a troll. This is evident in their refusal to even acknowledge the facts being laid out before them.
When one refutes common sense, there’s no longer a reason to respect their point of view.
Just bag on them and move on.
Sitting on your hands isn’t as effective as you think it is bud. Hate to break it to you.
But for funzies…. How about you go ahead and find a moment in history where doing nothing at all created the best outcome for anyone or anything.
EDIT: two days later and nothing as I expected.
For more smug ethics lessons. Press 1 or say: “Bore me to death.”
So I’ll use a random what-if/analogy since you seem to love them SO much!
Imagine a magic elf came down from magic elf land, and made you chose between having an acute health condition and cancer. Do you mean to say that you are totally fine with allowing other people to decide for you- full-well knowing that half of the people deciding are huge fans of cancer and not at all fans of you?
Because this is your logic mirrored right back back at you.
Or would you actually give a shit in this case because it will be YOU that’s affected by the outcome.
Either way-
You’re getting one regardless. Not choosing doesn’t make the election not happen. But you know this. Don’t you?
You know that there will still be an election, right? Not voting simply says you’re fine with either candidate winning. Which clearly shows your entitlement as you must not have much to worry about. It’s this, or you don’t even live in the states.
So pick one:
Does everyone see how this person offers nothing but contrarian nonsense disguised as ethics lessons?
Please call them out and move on. Don’t waste time on this.
I can’t be baited bud. That’s not how it works. I have the strength of conviction to say something and stick with it. So I won’t be indulging you by answering your bad faith bullshit.
Not happening.
I’m just here to walk you into the light so people can see what you’re up to and maybe stop taking you so seriously.
Nothing more.
But please, by all means. Continue with your smug little ethics lesson. Im enjoying it!
That’s not how votes work. And I’m not going to explain it to you because EVERONE here already has. You have absolutely no intention to argue in good faith at this point.
In FPTP, any vote not for one, is an assist for the other. Period. End of story. Case closed. No more debate on it.
That you’re here to continue arguing with people illustrates that you’re not here to discuss it in good faith at all.
Therefore, I’d ask anyone reading along to just disregard this person as a bad faith actor and don’t engage with them any further on this.
So, your original post is about the voters, or the politicians? Because I’m talking about the voters, which is what you made your post out to be.
Third party will never see the light of day because the people that see it for what it is would never in their life support it. Those that support it, only pay attention to it every three and a half years or so just like the candidates do with political policy.
They do nothing, and they have no roadmap to any effective policy at all.
When this changes, I’d be willing to bet that any free thinking democrat would be willing to listen. But as the leftists LOVE to say-
They haven’t earned our votes. They don’t just get to demand we vote for them and magically get our votes. It’s THEIR job to earn votes.
And they haven’t.
And for the most part- the only pressure applied is from democrats. Conservatives will do the reverse and fully support the genocide, and far leftists and social vanish after the election. They do this every time.
Hell, 1 in 10 Bernie Bros vote for Trump out of spite in 2016. So how about we hope THEY don’t disappear since they’re the ones that seem to have the roadmap to ending genocide to begin with. But we know they are going to. Because they would rather not vote and risk a trump victory just to spite everyone for not doing things their way.
What would make anyone believe they’ll stick around to usher in any of the change they demand?
The same can be said for the untold masses of “socialists” crying that “all dems are pro-genocide!” while most of them didn’t even know where Palestine was a year ago.
“Another” genocide? When was the first one? The Democrats never started a genocide. I’d LOVE for you to show me where in history this happened.
Hey, news flash bud…
No one here enjoys genocide. You’ve not part of some enlightened yet totally secret grassroots movement of people that somehow managed to draw the conclusion that- SURPRISE! Genocide is a bad thing now!
It’s just that that the rest of us understand how shit works. It has been explained to you for months. The information exists EVERYWHERE.
You have no excuses to remain this ignorant on the matter. So… Enjoy pouting and not voting while the rest of us do everything we can to keep your right to ignore all logic and reason in favor of whatever bothers you this election year.
Because we ALL know you’ll have some other reason to not vote in 2028.
It’s far too late in the game to engage with any of you in any meaning way on this. You gave up the rights to my patience and respect when you all insulted everyone that tried to explain this to you- over and over again.
I’m here to call out the bad faith bullshit, and point and laugh at the failed attempts to interfere with an election.
Nothing more.
They do nothing to earn their support of votes. Nothing. Little to no campaigning. Seemingly no viable policy that could work in the real world- and seemingly no willingness to even try and enter the ring and work with anyone.
Nothing but empty promises and demands that will be laughed out of offices.
But it sure looks good to people ignorant enough to not bother to understand how politics work in the real world.
Change doesn’t happen just because you want it badly enough.
Oh they absolutely know.

It’s about hope. And sometimes that’s all we have, so… don’t burn the day.
