People need to think less like medieval serfs, and more like 18th century Frenchmen.

People bitch about systemd? Don’t pretty much all the major distros use it?
Why can’t they stay sitting?
Close enough.
It’s not about the sense of freedom, it’s about my severe case of “just one more chapter” addiction.
I think it’s more accurate to say that things become fire.
Has this guy somehow not learned of type A to type C cables?
And what is your proposed solution?
Pointing out the obvious problem without proposing a solution is a giant waste of everyone’s time.
Well that would depend on exactly what type of experiments he’s doing.
What surprises me the most is that out of all the Republicans, it’s her that realizes how stupid this is.
Still not the kind of thing the average person was ever going to watch a four hour video on, regardless of attention span.
“traffic sucked for a couple hours a day for a week, therefore no more anything ever” that’s kinda shit reasoning. Sounds more like a good excuse to push for more money for infrastructure improvements.
Why would you not want an area in the downtown area of your city?
Or is this more of a not wanting public funds to pay for it protest?
I’m not up to speed on how US tax laws work. What does getting deemed a hobby entail?
The government probably wouldn’t have if both rail lines weren’t shut down simultaneously.
The Teamsters should take a page from the way the UAW/CAW handles the Big Three; focus negotiations on one, then tell the other “here’s the template”.
Keeping the rail lines running is too critical for the government to allow a protracted lockout/strike, but a (non-conservative) government would likely allow far more leeway if only one of the railways are shut at one time.
Nothing says “small government” and “freedom” quite like mass surveillance.
Well now this really makes for a trio of facts that paint a horrifying picture:
Guess I should buy some stocks in companies that use prison labour.
Checks out, what with the current state of the Christian-right in the US.
Not important enough to me at this point to spend the time changing over. Windows 10 does what I need it to and still gets security updates. When one of those two factors changed, then it will be worth my time to change over.
A lot of those stereotypical problems have been non-issues for a long time. Last time I had to fuck around with wifi drivers was somewhere around 2012.
