If I strictly apply rule 1, this should be removed. But at the same time, after talking with OP via PM, it is true that it is still kinda related to games.For now I’m gonna keep it, but an update to the rules is needed, to better define and explain them.Edit : After a night of sleep I have to admit I was mistaken here.

- Rules 3 is not breached as long as OP do not spam the community. Promotion is allowed on this sub, as long as it does not become “excessive”.
- Rule 4 is not breached as it is no meme content (anymore 😉 ), and it doesn’t fall under the “low effort” rule due to all the effort necessary to make such a game

Giveaways could be tolerated if verified by a moderator first. There are a lot of scams involving game code giveaway, so to protect the community we opted for banning it until we find a reliable way to verify such codes beforehand.
If you feel like an user may be a bot, please report it to a mod so we can put said user under observation in order to access its behavior.

If you were wrong, and he was legit, you’d have triggered an harassment campaign against him by encouraging others to just conclude he must be a bot because someone said so with a lengthy comment they don’t have the time to fully check.Edit: clarifying why this shouldn’t be done that way, as my previous take was kinda harsh (I was a bit tired)

It is in his right as a moderator to chose how he moderate the communities he has the right to. If he finds your comment pedantic and annoying, and chose to remove it, so be it.
I’m not taking sides here. I don’t know the whole story, and I doubt anyone else here does. With the little context provided, It’d be hard to take knowingly a side.
But in both case, this is textbook harassement as you are copy-pasting this comment on every community this is posted on. This community has a pretty clear rule against harrassement (rule 2), which you are breaching, offense for which I’ll use my g… mod given right of banning you for the time being (I’ll re-evaluate tomorrow when I’ll be less tired).

Damn, I played to it like, decades ago, and I still was able to instantaneously recognize the game. Never finished it though.

1·1 month agoc/games mod here. Yeah, we wish for our community to be more about discussing about games themselves than memeing in order to avoid meme drowning other content.
Meme are funny, I don’t personally mind them, but once you allow too much of them, you end up becoming a meme community.
Maybe we should create, if it doesn’t exist, a “gamesmeme” or similar to offload if it tend to overwhelm c/gaming too, or create a dedicated day to meme out (aka “meme monday”).
In a way, this does break rule 4, as multiples report pointed out, but I’ll allow it for this time in order for y’all to congratulate our fellow gamer here for its huge accomplishments.
OP is advised, in hope to appease the report queue gods, to kindly celebrate next achievement in the most monotonous, mild and definitively not memey manner. Thaaaanks. (/s)
