I largely share your thoughts. I honestly expected Biden to at least be prepared enough to counter the usual Trump tactics of making things up and using strong words to impress his base while deflecting blame or critical questions.

He can’t because he’s 2637361873 years old and can’t think fast enough to have actual replies. The rules of the debate were no notes and no communication with staff so Biden had to rely on what little working brain cells he has left to form responses and recall history. I also wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised to learn both him and Trump have been using stimulants, but only Biden stopped talking them for the debate since there was so much talking about that beforehand.

It was an absolute travesty that there was no fact checking from the completely useless moderators.

Unfortunately for a lot of us there isn’t an exit strategy. No country worth moving to wants an almost 40 year old, single, uneducated, factory schmuck :/

Warren was my choice over Bernie for strategic value even though I like Bernie more. If we didn’t have explicitly Republican propaganda outlets I think conservatives would have been more comfortable with her too as she was once a Republican and understands business law.

Hell she literally wrote the book on my, and others, biggest issue “the two income trap” where society has defined economic success by “family income” instead of individual incomes. People like myself suffer because we’re perpetually single so we only have one income. Family income says everything is rosy because it’s now 2 incomes. :(

There’s some stupid adherence to precedent where we don’t primary an encumbant because in the past it didn’t work out well. So now we shut our eyes and pretend he isn’t absolutely one of the worst candidates ever because we refuse to primary him.

I think the “staying in the crappy place” pushes more people to accept fascists because they sing a tune of redemption, while the status quo still chokes you. Unfortunately that’s never the right answer, but people aren’t logical.

I don’t think it has been long enough to have gathered enough data on that. Just watching it myself I could clearly see a low information voter seeing Trump as a more fit choice as Biden struggled to even form sentences :(

The electoral college is mainly for the president. Each state is “worth” x number of electoral votes (actual people who do the real voting, they just are supposed to follow the publics vote.) so running for president becomes a game of “how many points can I gather using various states to win” instead of “how can I appeal to as many people as possible to win.” It’s a clusterfuck and it leaves candidates ignoring states they think aren’t worth spending money and time in.

It was so long ago I don’t remember exactly what I said but things just seemed awkward after that. I tried to show interest after that but it was never reciprocated lol

Just watch WWE if you want to see a fake wrestling match. These “debates” have been absolutely pathetic and show the world just how fucking stupid we are.

That kind of makes sense at least for me. I don’t want any attention from people I know or anyone really, I just don’t want to exist anymore.

“Thankfully” I have a family that cares about me so I’m not going anywhere. I couldn’t hurt them just so I don’t have to suffer, that’s even worse.

These better be fake, because I’m so unbelievably disgusted at the hundreds of thousands of jobs of all professions at all experience levels offering $17-22/hr.
