So everyone that doesn’t put their life on hold and join you in protest is your enemy. Got it. Enjoy having very few allies. That’s not how you win people over or start any sort of movement. Sympathizers are valuable to your cause too. Maybe you’ll notice that eventually.

What exactly do you want me, the average white guy to do? Hang myself in the street because my ancestors were assholes? I acknowledge they were assholes and they built a system that fucks you over. I, a powerless cog in the machine, treat everyone with the same respect i expect for myself. I vote democrat because the alternative is worse for both of us, yet you still hate me. Okay.

  • Realistically what will US aid accomplish? Will those suffering even receive any of it? Won’t it just provide the means for Taliban leaders and ideals to remain in power and strengthen? And won’t that inevitably lead to them getting comfortable enough to lash out at the world once again?

I understand the problems and suffering caused by our “war on terror”. Its not as simple as you make it seem though. its more of a moral dilemma rather than moral priorities.

  • Depth to movement mechanics is one of the differences between mediocre and great first person games. Look at counter strike movement over the years. Players have extracted everything from the quirks of that engine, the game is better for it, and the skill ceiling for movement alone is enormous. That skill ceiling is important. Crouch jumps in particular have been in pretty much every game i can think of since i learned halo on the og xbox. even if they aren’t explicitly used by the game designers, there is often tricks you can do to exploit campaigns in fun ways, or maneuver the multiplayer with a higher level of expertise than others. Thats fun. Competitive but fun.

Compared to games where every mechanic is dead simple and everyone can do it, its more just rock paper scissors at that point. The designer gave a specific movement ability, you counter it with some other ability they designed. Its boring to me.
