The Pacific Northwest doesn’t really get tornadoes. It’s a good thing too. Some dude in KY tried to cultivate redwoods because he thought he could get rich selling legally harvested redwood timber. Was going pretty well for about a decade to decade and a half, until the first high wind storm came through. Wasn’t even a full blown tornado. He lost about 40 acres of adolescent redwoods because they don’t grow deep roots, they grow wide. That’s basically why you don’t see them except in a tiny area of Northern California.

It’s just fancy/finicky tomatoes, when you get down to it. Lol. The “skill” is owning a moisture and pH meter, and reading the soil/ hydroponic pH a couple times a day. I’ve all but automated the process at this point, at least from clone to bud stages. Getting clones to root, and trimming the buds is basically all I have to monitor any more, but that did take like 3 years of tweaking to setup.

Oh, and I grow indoors. My grow rooms could easily be used as electronics clean rooms without much modification. I set them up that way to keep out insects. Specifically spider mites. Needless to say, I can also control the temperature, humidity, and lighting of those rooms.

I currently grow weed, train dogs, and build custom computers. The last one has become all but impossible though. Dunno what you’d call me.

The “minced onion” at McDonald’s is rehydrated onion flakes. It takes about 30 seconds to get them to absorb a bit of water, and they are then useful to top burgers, sandwiches, etc.

I do not do anything but sleep in my bedroom. My phone charger stays in the living room. When I feel tired, I lay down and basically turn off for four to five hours. I have no issues getting to sleep, but I can’t stay asleep for a “normal” 6-8 hours. My body won’t do it.
