    If this comment was made in a workplace I’d reach out to HR and make sure they were canned - this would absolutely qualify as creating a hostile workplace and the targeted employee might even be able to pursue the offender independently in court.

    Public statements have a different threshold and public figures have less protections from this kind of speech and sexualization but… this shit being acceptable to conservative voters is just more reinforcement of how divorced from common sense and reality they fucking are.

      Yep, if someone is into spanking. More power to them. But sexually harassing others by projecting your sexual fetishes on to them. That’s not acceptable.

    I mean, their dear leader has publicly outright said that he’d have sex with his daughter. It’s unfortunately becoming normal for them to say the quiet parts out loud. And I’d wager that these are the “tame” quiet parts. Wait until they feel fully unencumbered to speak their true mind. Now that freaks me out just thinking about it.
