Let’s be clear—our very first interaction started with you insulting me by calling me an “edgelord,” which is a blatant provocation. As seen in your link: https://lemmy.world/comment/12909326

You initiated the conversation by insulting me, and now you’re falsely accusing me of trolling when I was simply responding to your attack.

You set the tone for that exchange, but you’re acting as if I’m the one in the wrong. It’s weird for you to insult someone and then play the victim when they respond.

Do you think it’s acceptable to personally attack someone in your very first interaction with them, even tho they haven’t attacked you?!

That’s your argument for calling me a troll? You’re saying I’m a troll because I responded to your unprovoked insult to me?! And I still didn’t personally attack you after that. lol

Yeah, because you said something cringe. You then tried to have a convo and as soon as I did back you just trolled.

You set the tone with your horrible comment. If someone says something horrible you can’t expect hugs and kisses buddy. You really can’t help but play the victim can you?

So you insulted me first. Right out of the gate. So no man, I don’t think you can insult someone, then get mad and call them a troll if you are the one that started the argument. Sorry, man, you’re not gonna change my mind on that.

And I’m not gonna change your mind. That’s ok. But I never insulted you or called you names. But you called me a name. Right off the bat.

You were saying shiity things out of the gate. If you’re walking on the street and someone is yelling ignorant shit and you call them cringe, who is the person in the wrong there? Stop playing the victim, it’s pathetic.

And let’s not act like civility is morality. If you can’t realize you can be an asshole without directly calling someone names then you’re beyond naive.

You were saying shiity things out of the gate.

No, you THOUGHT what I said was shitty. But it wasn’t directed to you. And I didn’t think it was shitty. YOU think it’s shitty. And that’s your right. But then you called me a name.

So yeah, let’s use your scenario. You’re walking down the street, you hear someone yelling what you think is ignorant shit, and you call them cringe. Then they stop, turn around and defend themselves to you, and then you say they are mean and shouldn’t have said that.

You are the one playing victim here, not me. You said I was a troll because I responded to your insults.

How about you don’t insult people just because you don’t agree with what they said?

I have never called you names. You have called me names.

You think that’s cool. I don’t think it’s cool and I think it weakens your argument.

“I love how much drama she’s causing.”

That is cringe as fuck. Especially if you’re an adult.

And in your scenario you’re still wrong lol. I walk down the street and hear someone yelling and call them cringe. If they feel the need to come over and defend that to a random stranger that makes them even more cringe. How weird.

Cringe to you. But I do love how much drama she’s causing. She made the dems so scared they financed a fucking commercial about there. I’m all for anything that shakes up the status quo.

You seem to be seeing “cringe” everywhere you look. That’s a “you” problem, not a “me” problem, friend. Thank you! :)

So you love drama and you’re excited that people are scared and worried about their future. You just like to shake things up like an cool anarchist.

Yeah dude, I called it right.

And nah, haven’t called anyone cringe in a while, but the word just fits so well here.

I love political drama in the news, yes. And other people do too, that’s why it’s in the news. That’s how news orgs make their money. They report on drama, then get clicks, then get paid.

I’m not scared of Trump. I don’t care if he wins (I don’t think he will though). I don’t like him. I don’t like Harris. So again, I like Jill Stein. Even tho I didn’t vote for her.

You think it’s cringe. Cool. But that doesn’t make me a troll. That just makes me a person you are annoyed with. That’s a different thing.
