Cause it takes up a lot of space on store shelves. It’s really obvious when there’s a larger demand for them.

This is so stupid. Toilet paper lasts really long, so it makes sense to only stockpile it when it’s on discount and you have dry room to store it. If you actually run out, you can use other paper as a substitute (tissues, bills, pages of that book you hate).

One roll lasts one person about a month. Maybe a bit less, if you use a lot for other purposes like cleaning things.

Honestly some use way more than a roll a month.

Like you, I’ve never understood TP panic vying. I have a years stock too

men usually use it to dry the tip of their willie too, if that’s what you mean. if we don’t it can become smelly. but i use 3-ply or more, because it’s usually cheaper and longer lasting than using 2-ply and folding it.

It takes one square, hell, a quarter square with good shakes and a urethra stroke for that. It’s really not even an issue with daily showers. Us having a straw with a very exposed exit point is a much simpler device to dry than what the other half of the world is dealing with

I use high thread count Egyptian cotton toilet paper, so it’s no joke.
