Anon doesn’t realize yet that he is The Pain.
Anon’s entire office needs an orientation. Who casually talks to their coworkers about the birds and the bees?
I used to be a mobile app developer but I literally retired because my company went to an open floor plan arrangement with no offices at all (let alone doors for them) or even cubicles. You didn’t even have your own desk, you just sat at any empty desk when you came in in the morning. The uselessness of the back-to-the-office movement is obvious enough when compared to working from home, but it’s really even worse than useless when you can’t get a quiet, undisturbed environment to do your work in.
To be fair, forcing everyone back to the office and then giving them individual offices kinda makes less sense than forcing everyone back to the office to all work in one space together. At least that way it’s actually encouraging human interaction - if you’re working from a private office you might as well be working from your private home.
Not suggesting that any of that is a good idea at all though. Forced working from an office is now officially an antiquated idea.
I wonder if it’d have been gucci to try and leave some snacks out for the bees to munch on
See if you can make happy bee friends
