Everyone’s in a position to criticize every administration. But y’all only do it one way.
Everyone’s in a position to criticize every administration. But y’all only do it one way.
“Whataboutism” is trying to excuse one person’s actions because of another person’s actions.
I’m not excusing shit. They’re both crooks. I’m pointing out y’all don’t give a shit when a Dem does it.
The same people attacking Trump’s picks had no issue with Obama letting Citibank pick all of his people for him.
Yes, Trump’s picks are bad, but Democrats aren’t really in a position to be pointing fingers. Blue & Red MAGA have no self-awareness.
Depending on the task, it’s quicker to verify the AI response than work through the blank page phase.
Just a different kind of bad. Both of these parties are completely fucked.
The Biden admin withheld dairy contamination data to protect dairy farmers, and let the CEO of Delta set Covid isolation guidelines to meet his workforce needs.
The health institutions are already fucked.
What restrictions?
I understand that’s what you want to happen. That you think the left should hold their nose, and compromise on the horrors of the empire to get a seat at the table.
But as this election has shown, that’s not going to happen. So it’s not the left that needs to hold their nose to get a seat at the table. It’s now the party that needs to swallow their pride, and acquiesce to the left, or they’ll continue to lose their seat at the table.
No. The party has never moved left beyond their rhetoric. Their actual policies keep moving right. For example, even as their climate rhetoric went left, they still broke records on fossil fuel extraction, waived environmental protections to build Trump’s wall faster, and tried to ban imports of green tech.
The real sticking point is war. The party refuses to move left enough to be anti-war, because they are beholden to defense contractors. And Americans are so sick of war, they’ll vote for anyone they believe might de-escalate.
I don’t believe anyone should be able to claim ownership of any ideas or numbers. No math outlawed or controlled. When something is made physical, that’s an entirely different thing, but trying to control 1’s and 0’s is breaking us.
But then we also need to recognize that people need to be rewarded for their ideas, for the benefit of us all, and start subsidizing these. At the very least, we need to establish a basic standard of living that everyone is entitled to, so that people can dedicate themselves to developing ideas they’ll never profit from while not having to worry about being able to house or feed themselves.
No, Gen Z just isn’t conservative enough to settle for Dems. Put up a progressive, and they’ll show up.
Israel would not meaningfully harm US interests?! Bahahahha!
There’s really not much you can do. There’s just too many cameras in the public spaces. If any government official wants to see who’s visited an abortion clinic, they can just have the local traffic camera company tell them.
We need to ban the government getting around the 4th amendment by partnering with private companies.
What is that “probably” based on?
Israel has a history of arming their enemies and extremists to intentionally destabilize the region. They founded and materially supported Hamas, even as they fired rockets into Israel, in order to undermine peaceful secular groups.
If you think either of the only two parties allowed to run aren’t both fascists, you’re not paying attention.
Sounds fair to me!
The only benefit to attempting to push progressive policies and candidates through the existing system is to illustrate to people on the fence that system cannot be reformed, and it must be destroyed before it will represent us.
Is this a hasbara attempt to deflect from the fact that Israel is selling weapons to Russia?
That’s a nice fantasy. But the sooner you accept reality, the sooner you can begin to get to work on actual solutions, instead of playing along with the illusion.
Funny you bring up war crimes. Red & Blue MAGA don’t hold their own accountable for those either.
