  • After casting an open invite for people between the ages of 18 and 60 who previously had a mild case of COVID-19, Romano-Silva and colleagues in the preliminary study tested a group of 130 volunteers comprised mostly of women with a mean age of 38 years

Doesn’t look like a balanced test group to me. Do they have any idea what might cause these cognitive deficits? Or is it just wrong self evaluation like this stupid vaccines cause autism study from 1990?

Don’t take me wrong, COVID was horrible and all to real, but I don’t believe these 1 in 4 people with mild cases have long lasting cognitive deficits bullshit. At least not if it is “proven” with studies like this

  • “Allowed and supported” is something different then “its possible”. The article mentions some points that seemingly haven’t been “supported” in the past:

    • Stop requiring Google Play Billing for apps distributed on the Google Play Store (the jury found that Google had illegally tied its payment system to its app store)
    • Let Android developers tell users about other ways to pay from within the Play Store
    • Let Android developers link to ways to download their apps outside of the Play Store
    • Let Android developers set their own prices for apps irrespective of Play Billing

    Google also can’t:

    • Share app revenue “with any person or entity that distributes Android apps” or plans to launch an app store or app platform
    • Offer developers money or perks to launch their apps on the Play Store exclusively or first
    • Offer developers money or perks not to launch their apps on rival stores
    • Offer device makers or carriers money or perks to preinstall the Play Store
    • Offer device makers or carriers money or perks not to preinstall rival stores

    Thanks Mr. Epic Judge

  • My tipp: don’t try to analyze and think to much about yourself. It’s like thinking about the way you walk and suddenly walking feels strange and forced. You can’t change who you are, don’t even try it.

Instead try to focus on her, everyone loves a good, active listener. You are there to get to know her anyway, aren’t you?

One thing you should take to your heart. Finding a good match isn’t an easy task, don’t go on a date expecting her to be the one. Eventually you will get disappointed or rejected, that is totally normal and nothing to worry about. It just means you and her weren’t a good fit.

And don’t try to act in a way thats untypical for you just to impress her. You want her to get to know the real you, not the impression of someone you think she would like.

Think about it like a casual date without any expectations is the best you can do
