I used to root my android phone to limit battery charge + adaway. But recently I finally gave up with rooting due to all the restrictions that comes along with it.

My opinion is that with or without denuvo a good game or product will always sell itself.
Take Wukong black myth for example. Even without denuvo i believe it will still become a huge commerical success. Perhaps it would even have sold more units because there are people who simply refuse to buy any game no matter how good it is as long as it has denuvo.
Piracy definitely has an impact on mediocre game that is lacking in every aspect. But then again the average person who pirate is probably broke and is probably never going buying it anyway so 🤷♂️
Speaking of phones.
I just had to buy new ones recently for the older folks at home because of the lack of VOLTE support on their phones. Those phones were perfectly fine and adequate for their use case (basic call, message) and they wouldn’t have to change phones if it were not for the 3G network termination.
Now they have new phones with functions that they will never ever use.
I just wish there are options. I love to have one of those newer LG OLED without all the smart capabilities & additional hardware. Just a good screen that I can hook up to my PC and direct play all my shows and let the GPU handle all the necessary upscaling/tone mapping.
I played plenty of Ubisoft games and I believe the only game I beat was Immortal fenyx rising. I like farcry 3 & black flag but I never got to finish playing because live service games took up all my game time.
I also tried AC Odyssey and Valhalla more than once and the longest I managed was under 20hr before calling it quits.
I don’t hate their games I just don’t enjoy playing them and I don’t see myself buying anything Ubisoft because their games are just not my cup of tea as much i want it to be.
Aren’t most games these days released in beta state? I can’t remember the last time I played a game that didn’t takes weeks and even months of updates for the game to be free from technical issues, bugs or missing content.
All because the average gamer is willing to pay full price for ‘early access’ and will probably never revisit the game 6 months or 1 year after launched to play the finished product.
