That sounds really nice!! Unfortunately it is hard to find such a space where people who are non-binary or have bodies that don’t fit into the gender binary can go to and feel welcome :'(

Yeah, and that’s why I miss r/raisedbynarcissists here on lemmy :/
Aww nice! Did you upload it to iNat?
Wow, this sounds so cool!!! I made a faux black tea the other day using Chamaenerion angustifolium (I fermented it a bit as well). But it didn’t really come close to real tea for me. Maybe I’ll add something fragrant like you did to enhance the flavor a bit :)
What a nice post, thanks for sharing :)
Haven’t heard of the new jersey tea plant before (I’m European) but it sounds so cool! Do you use it for anything in particular? Like making tea?
I don’t get it…
Is there something special about this? You could look at any point in evolution and say, how did evolution produce this diversity afterwards.
I haven’t seen this meme before but the person in the upper right and middle left look the same. And the rest of the panels look like one other person. Matches with the shoulder strap another person commented on. Probably someone took two different commercials of the same product and stitched them together.
Peanuts too ;)
Let’s say that we have a more recent micro SD card of 1 TB. So to contain the same information in a punch card (with a byte density of 80 byte/156 cm² = 0.512 byte/cm²), we would need a card of 512,820,512,820 cm². If I’m not mistaken that would be a punch card the size of 51 km²!! This is wild :O
What kind of response are you expecting? Or is this just a rant/vent? I don’t agree with your statement entirely, many people would also want people with NPD, psychopathy or sociopathy to get support. The problem, however, is that it is really hard for most to give people with strong narcissistic or manipulative traits the support they need. Similarly, I also have compassion with pedophiles and wish them the support they need. But obviously I don’t want them to be enabled (or even allowed) to follow their sexuality. Same goes for people with narcissistic and manipulative traits. I want them to get support but not be enabled or allowed to hurt or manipulate others.
Recently I stumbled upon this podcast called “The Bright Sessions” where they basically envision neurodivergent people and/or people with mental disorders as having superhuman powers. There also is a character that might fall into your description of people who are not treated with compassion. The podcast really explores what that means and how compassion can look like with a person like that.
ETA: and this comes from a person who has been traumatized over decades by various people with strong narcissistic traits.
But it may be something to work towards to, isn’t it? Or at least get rid of these societal taboos?
Where I live and grew up (Germany), there isn’t that much of a taboo on nudity. I liked showering in my gym for example where there is only a shared (gendered) shower. Since starting my transition I wouldn’t feel welcome in any gendered shared public shower however. I would really like to stop hiding my body but instead feel more included among cis people. One day I hope…
I still prefer going swimming naked (if there are not too many people around) because it avoids gendered swim wear. At most lakes in Germany you can find people going swimming naked or with swim wear. Just coexisting :)
