Putting in political work, petitions, speaking to and informing people, writing the politicians (at best paper mail, its taken more seriously) going into a party and making change from inside, protesting normally as in on the streets and not being disruptive to the public.

It gives me an ‘in’ when my conservative reactionary friends-by-circumstances bring it up to dunk on them with their alternative-facts and I get to correct them with reality-facts. It’s slow, but it works. No-ones mind was changed overnight about anything.

If I’m right, it’s basically saying don’t do stuff manually, just let the computer do it. I kind of disagree with this. All of my fixed devices have a fixed IP that I manually assigned and derived from the original v4 schema I also have. For example 192.168.x.y becomes prefix::y
