The memes are shit but free
I was perma-banned from politicalmemes.world for ‘Misinformation’ by saying you had to excuse genocide if you’re going to vote for Harris or trump…

It’ both. The before eating pics are always more PR friendly. Trump loves McDonald’s because he has no taste
Stephen fucking Miller is tapped to return. The administration is shaping up to be more detestable than I could imagine. I’m waiting to see where the bottom goes from Betsy DeVoes as secretary of edu
Not a specific album, but 90% of King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard’s releases. They always sound intriguing at first but end up being mediocre.
He’s gonna get a spot in the trump admin
That sounds like some extortion. Not exactly something I would want to champion or believe to be a viable political platform
Nothing alleged about Genocide Joe.
Any vote for Harris or trump was still a vote for the war crimes to continue. The American people never had a say on this issue.
And what’s the deal with airline food?! I mean c’mon
What a waste of a billion dollars
So I just want to toss another layer on that onion…the working class doesn’t always have the time or energy to dig into political nuance. People don’t vote for fascism; people vote for relatable promise of additional opportunity.
I feel olde grimy in my bones tho

Focus locally and organize.
I’ve been pretty politically active for the past 20 years, and it’s rough right now. Remain vocal and remember organizing locally is the most impactful. Complaining on lemmy (which I do when doom scrolling) doesn’t amount to more than yelling into the void. Boycotts, protests, volunteering, and a direct action approach to the issues you feel strongly about are where your time and energy will serve the most purpose. It’s great to see positive change on a national scale, but it’s far too depressing if that where you keep all of your focus. Internet communities are not as important the real ones we live in.
As far as the genocide in Gaza, the average person can’t do much more than boycotts, protesting and calling/emailing your representatives. It’s deflating when both presidential candidates commit to supplying the weapons being used to continue the war crimes…but I will remain vocal and participate in local events. Food Not Bombs is one I regularly support.
Keep up the good fight
