Eh, it’s also a bit of a teaching opportunity with kids. A decent parent will teach kids which things are okay to hit and which ones aren’t, and this is something that can help with that. Someone’s probably going to get hit once or twice yeah. But kids also get mad when they can’t stick forks in outlets. I don’t see this toy being any worse than a sword or gun toy.
Honestly yeah. My hopes are at this point our electoral process does exactly what it just did. It’s clear a lot of people went out and voted for him. Not a small group but a ton. And my resignment has just been “Okay, this is what you asked for, buckle up”.
It’s gonna suck ass and I really hope they don’t start some bullshit that makes them squeak out of the mess they’re about to step in. (They’ll definitely try to) But let’s give the American people exactly what they asked for and just try to stop the house from catching on fire while they realize what a bad idea it was.

Edit: I’m not saying that this is okay at all but the guy in the article definitely has the tone of “oh yeah let’s tell them we are gonna start up the murder machine out front” I understand that there are a lot of people that do stick to this rhetoric. But I pretty much guarantee that in the context of this article it’s bait to get people to go “he said he’s gonna start up his murder machine!” And then they’ll go on some rant about liberals or whatever else.
The guy is still probably an absolute shithole but you need to be able to recognize when they are setting people up for a punchline that furthers their agenda.
It’s just like the church guys who stand outside with the old “god hates (slur)” signs. They believe it, but fighting them or screaming about it just pushes their agenda. Condemn them, call them out, but hysteria just gives them ammunition.
It’s not like “oh dear God” levels of bitter but it’s enough to just be like “pteh ew” and spit it out.

Good time to remind people, any helmet that has been in a crash, even ones that have just been banged around really hard, should not continue to be used.
Helmets have crush zones and structures that are designed to fail (inside and out) to protect you, but once they’re used/deformed theyre done. Reusing a helmet beats nothing but you really should get a new one after each incident.
I don’t sympathize with this dudes rhetoric at all, just adding that from his mouth movements he does seem to be making an “m” sound not an “n” sound with his mouth.
He’s probably still really racist, but I’ve got racist family and if they ever decide to drop a “hard r” you can see it in their face. I do think it was a case of trying to say “immigrants”, flubbing it, then just saying “migrants” because he realizes what it sounds like. Even the forced laughter afterwards has a sort of “oh shit that didn’t sound good” vibe to it.
Again, not defending this guy. But we have to remember, all sides of politics can spin stuff to fit their agenda, so we have to be discreet in our decisions and judgements, that’s how we stand apart from all the people just sucking down the news as gospel truth.
Also sounds like you had a crappy realtor. If you’re using a realtor, get them to work for you, that’s what they’re for. Give them the specs of the house you’re looking for, sure, but they should be calling you with listings, vetting the homes before they show them to you, handling negotiation relays and inspection setups, etc.
Just general advice, yes you pay them, but if they aren’t working for you, pay someone else.
The thing I tell people is that as a parent, you are going to put maybe a few hours into blocking them from getting to stuff. They are then going to spend as much time as they want trying to get through it. You can dig through concrete with a spoon if you’re patient enough.
Educate them, and give them access when they’re responsible enough

Yeah I’m not giving him credit at all but there’s definitely a very real undeniable difference between talking smack and being threatened and all that and actually getting shot at, hit (even if barely) and nearly killed. Trump is an ego inflated asshole, but the sight of your own blood, especially at his age when death is already a daily thought I’m sure, can seriously fuck you up mentally.
I do wonder if there is some value in like a “protestor defense volunteer”. Like a group that their job is just to protect the people in protesting areas, regardless of affiliation or reason. Can’t call it a problem if everyone gets defended while exercising their rights, and then protestors don’t have a reason to bring guns.
