In BG3, I’d wager that they all use the same illithid model.
I seem to recall in Act 3 after a certain point:

Seeing random citizens all getting transformed after having all the macguffins when I fast travelled. Gnomes and dwarves both got the tall illithid model.

Well I can just set it to 8 and drink this beautiful potion or wear these fantastic gloves you see.
1·1 year agoAs someone who does actually play it - it’s only microtransaction focused if you get FOMO and like to collect all playable characters.
Usually you can guarantee a new high rarity unit once every two months or so of playing, but the real endgame is just exploring and there is no need to pay anything ever.
