Well… Depends on what you need to use. There’s very few apps or niche use cases that require root.
SSDs slots as USBs are just slower and finnicky fiddly.

The only use case that I can find is to use it as a backup laptop: in the event I lose or break the laptop, i could get by with a tablet.
