I believe him when he said he didn’t read it, because his staffers say he won’t read a goddamn thing unless it glowingly mentions him several times (or it’s a book of Hitler’s speeches). Trump himself has said he considers reading a waste of time.

What I DO believe is that he’s being spoonfed lists of appointees by the Heritage Foundation.

This is assuming that international colleges will even accept American institutional credentials for education going forwards. With how thorough this dismantling might be, we might go back to “oh, we didn’t learn about the Civil War up in Nebraska, all we needed to know was how to run the farm” like it was at the turn of the last century.

The idea is that this way, they can retain teachers, who are notoriously hard to hire right now anyway, while also forcing their compliance via wage cuts for wrongthink.
