I expose mine, have crowdsec and Authelia in front and it’s been fine so far, don’t expose things like ssh to the internet and change the port for it and you’ll probably be fine.

Though I did mean just tunnel into the Lan then the vpn is applied on outbound connections on the Lan using something like Gluetun or w/e

Haha I know, but like to pretend. I literally made the same point to my wife after reading like 10 pages of the Soviet Democracy book I was linked earlier.

We did eventually move further toward more democracy and socialist practices up until the red scare imo, but the foundations were definitely not as rosy as they paint it to be and many people lost their lives to push for progress.

So interesting to see a dissenting opinion, I support socialism/communism tho I wish there were better examples of communism working to point to, as if the west didn’t actively work against it all the time lol.

But it is fair to say I think that it is a bit concerning how often it has devolved into essentially dictatorships of one kind or another, but basically since Reagan it’s not like we’ve actually had a honest legislature/election process.

Starfield wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t great, very mediocre. I bought the limited edition like a fool because I saw the gameplay trailers and thought it looked awesome. I should have expected there would be very little depth to any of the systems.

Fallout 4 and Skyrim are my top played games on Steam by a mile, but I always play heavily modded.

I used to love to read, just don’t really have the drive to do that anymore over playing a game, fucking with my webserver or just watching something online.

I find it pretty funny how not too long ago the Republicans (including Trump) were so anti-big tech, and now they’re extremely buddy buddy. You’d think the republican constituency would see the obvious shift and come to the realization that the only thing that changed is these big tech giants are now paying trump… But of course not lol
